The tables at Everest feature the
work of Swiss artist Ivo Soldini.
Soldini was born in Lugano,
Switzerland, in 1951, and presently resides and works in Ligornetto,
a small Swiss Village near Italy’s border. His sculptures,
works on paper, and paintings center on the human figure as an
interpreter of hidden, untouchable, and yet undeniable, energies.
Soldini’s works have been exhibited widely throughout Italy,
Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, and are in such prestigious public
collections as the Casa anziano and the Impianto Depurazione
Acque. Soldini has also been commissioned to produce monumental
works for various public spaces, both in the United States and
abroad.
